WHY ATTEND URBAN VILLAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL?
Children learn best in a caring learning community where they will become respectful and responsible global citizens. UVMS students are taught using the Common Core standards in a challenging academic environment of inquiry and discovery where all learning is demonstrated. We use “best practices” in our curriculum and instruction program with high expectations for all students to succeed. We provide character development in a student-centered environment where each student is prepared for a successful high school experience. UVMS students will develop their natural talents and social skills through our Arts and Sports programs.
THE URBAN VILLAGE MIDDLE SCHOOL VISION IS:
Together we create learning environments where children love to be, where families are an integral part of the educational process, and where a student‘s academic, ethical, emotional, and social development is cultivated, in order to serve a humane and just society.
